Research Interests: My research focuses on parenting strategies and behavior problems in young children, including laboratory based study of effective strategies and compliance, and assessment of parenting strategies. Recent work has focused on diverse and underrepresented groups, including normative parenting and examining the utility of standardized measures with diverse groups. A second area of my research examines children and families' long-term adjustment to natural disaster.
